Stephen D. Ford, age 60, of Shelton passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the beloved husband of Robbin Wyatt Ford. Born in Cambridge, MA, on January 26, 1956, he was the son of Mary Hubbard Ford of Monroe and the late Daniel G. Ford. Stephen was a lifelong aviator, having served proudly in the U.S. Army. He was the Superintendent of Operations at Sikorsky Memorial Airport, with over 25 years of dedicated service. Stephen served as President on the Board of Directors of Blackhorse 4 Heroes, Inc.
