This is for the full program, there is another event posted for those who wish to attend just Sunday (no overnight). 


This is a new program, in collaboration with Touchstone Farms in Temple New Hampshire.  Horseback riding, carriage driving training camp for veterans.  Free of charge to veterans who would not have the means to afford this activities.  Family friendly. Includes room, board, food, transportation and training.

FRIDAY  June 5th

5PM Arrival…Settle in and unpack. Farm Tour.  Gerry, Boo, Bob with George and Brad 

6PM  Meet and Greet…Staff and Veterans

6:30  Dinner

7:30 Gather and Plan Weekend…Options presented and “The Nature of Horses” and Farm safety tips with Boo, Gerry, George & Brad 

8:30 Optional Meditation and Relaxation in the Welcome Center with Bob and Boo

9:00 Quiet Time by the Fireplace

SATURDAY June 6th

7AM Plug in the coffee, take a stroll around the farm, go pet a horse. Visit the small animals

8AM  Optional Morning Wake Up & Greet the Day with Bob and Boo

8:30 Breakfast for all

9:15   Formal Sign up

9:30-12:30  “The Nature of Horses”…Riding and Driving Galore…lessons and team work.

12:30 Lunch for all!

1:30-4:30   

Carriage Rides down the road…We do the driving, You do the Relaxing… George S

6:00 to 6:30  Gather together to build the bonfire and to have coffee/tea/cocoa with the treats made by the group

7:30  Guitar around the Bonfire…and Reflections of the Day…S’More’s anyone?

9:00 Optional Meditation and Relaxation in the Welcome Center with Bob

SUNDAY MARCH 29TH

8:00 Coffee on the porch or go take a walk!!!
